The following is a kit that one DV Task Force is trying to collect to give to victims of DV that are being stalked by thier abusers. We need to get on this and try to pass this info out far and wide to get other agencies in all areas looking into this. My personal opinion is that it may not completely solve the problem but it would help!
The kits contain eight items a stalking victim can use to keep records and provide evidence of unwanted contacts by those who have abused them in the past and against whom restraining orders have been issued. The items include a cassette recorder with batteries, an instant camera, a home security alarm kit, an air horn, a whistle, a notepad and pen, a caller ID box for use with a telephone, and a pamphlet on stalking.
